Our Mission

Kalkaal, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving impoverished families and orphaned children in Somaliland.

Founded by Dr. Khadra Kahin after returning to her country of birth for the first time in over two decades, Kalkaal was established to address the urgent needs she witnessed firsthand. The organization operates at a grassroots level to deliver immediate, practical, and sustainable support directly to vulnerable communities.

Kalkaal serves without discrimination and remains independent of tribal or political affiliation.
